Really moving: the new seat design. Berlin’s diverse population becomes a diversity of human silhouettes and a strong symbol of diversity and acceptance.
BVG gets Berlin moving – regardless of age, gender, origin, body shape, physical mobility, religion, sexual orientation, or cultural background. And now they’re displaying this diversity where it can’t be overlooked – in their new seat design.
„Everyone talks about diversity – we move it!“ says Christine Wolburg, Head of Sales & Marketing at Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe. „Our passengers are as colorful and diverse as BVG and Berlin itself. Our new seat pattern conveys this message perfectly. It’s a token of our love to all the two million people who ride with us every day, because they are just as unique and diverse as the silhouettes of our new pattern.“
A dancing inspector who not only checks tickets but also transforms the passengers into colourful silhouettes? Fair enough, that sounds a bit mad, but it’s a message from the heart. And we want to touch the hearts of all Berliners. With the unwavering commitment to diversity and acceptance.
Why? Because we love you. And everyone should see this love: soon on all buses and trains – and now in this film.
The campaign can be seen on BVG’s digital channels and out-of-home throughout Berlin. The film runs on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, as well as in other digital media.
